The staff were so nice, and the hotel was spotless. I would defo stay again.

    Great

Chic design without the over-the-top fakeness of some so-called "boutique hotels". Fantastic room with great views. Room rate was also excellent through this site. Reception delivered exactly on our request for a quiet room. Corridors have the thickest carpets I've seen in a hotel property recently. This really contributes to the quiteness of the rooms.

Restaurant was rather busy on Saturday night, very understandably. I love Thai food but, unfortunately, the hotness rating of my green curry did not quite correspond to the menu. A single chilli on the menu was more a 3-chilli rating in my mouth! The á la carte menu is overpriced unless you have dinner included in your rate. We didn't. The music from the bar and crowd noise drifted quite a lot into the restaurant but this is always a problem with open-plan design. Have DJ'd myself in a boutique property with the same problem.

The location was perfect for us as we were going to a concert in Marley Park. Dinner was very tasty, we also found the staff to be very friendly.

    Perfect

The Beacon was a lovely, modern hotel .We had dinner int their Thai Reestaurant which was lovely . Ther was a nice atmosphere in the Bar area also.It was very near to Dundrum Shopping Centre and within easy reach to The Aviva Stadium via taxi or the Luas, where we attended a concert.Would definetly stay here again.

Trying way too hard to be boutique and not really succeeding plus we were given a room just above a bar which was playing very loud late 90's early 00's hip hop and r'n'b (mind numbing) and with the window open (there was no aircon) you could smell the smoke coming in from down below

Super, fantastic and worth every cent. It's beautiful, the interior - thoughtful, astetic, inspirational. Not just the foyer, but holed bed, the leather mirrored elevator and the all seeing eye in your room. Rooms are mostly white and golden with cosy lighting and mainland European instalments. The Beacon has it own dj and produces it's own chill-lounge CDs. These gentle tones are playing through out the hotel all day. No matter where you look or where you are there's something ... to impress your senses. The food is of good quality and the breakfast buffet excellent. Staff always perform a gentle and sincere smile. They strive to do their best to accommodate your needs.

The only downer we experienced was Saturday evening where the foyer, bar and restaurant was turned into a very loud DJ's playground. Being a gust and on visit - have been out all day exploring, one could need some quiet time with a well prepared drink or while eating. The hotel is unable to provide you with this service. Since the hotel is located away from the Dublin city centre one would do wisely to ask reception if there would be a disco or not on floor zero. If yes one could enjoy food somewhere more quiet in town and return to the hotel later.

    Perfect

The hotel is luxuriously furnished in a very opulent manner, it has an Audrey Hepburn glamour. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is delicious with generous portio ns. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are state of the art with sliding door entrance. A very pleasurable experience, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Drinks in the bar are a little on the steep side though which is a pity a dash of orange juice was being charged at the same price as a split bottle €2.80 which I thought was very pricey.
